Bachelor of Science and Associate of Applied Science Programs
BMCC鈥檚 Computer Information Systems (CIS) Bachelor of Science and Associate of Applied Science Degrees are designed to teach and train students in a variety of Information Technology disciplines. Students who enroll in BMCC鈥檚 CIS program will learn how to administer operating systems, such as Linux, Windows, Windows Server; design and install wired and wireless networks; install and configure networking devices (Cisco Routers and Switches); troubleshoot and repair computers; learn web development, and more.
A majority of classes offered in BMCC鈥檚 CIS program will prepare students for professional credentials that require the passing of an additional exam. Certification based classes include pathways to:
- Cisco Certified Network Administrator (CCNA)
- CompTIA A+ Certification
- CompTIA Network+ Certification
- CompTIA Linux+ Certification
